This course is an examination of world archaeological sites through anthropological archaeology. Emphasis is placed on how archaeologists interpret the human past with the analysis of human material culture, archaeological research practices, and excavation techniques. Importance will be placed on archaeological methodology in understanding the rise and decline of past human cultures from prehistory to modern times.
