CJUS 2045 Human Trafficking

(3-0-0) 3 Credits UT
This course will study the second largest organized crime in the world, human trafficking.  The response of law enforcement, the courts, and corrections in relation to this crime will be examined.  The course will discuss what can be done to prevent, intervene, and disrupt the crime, by looking at who its potential victims and suspects may be, as well as what laws are currently in-place to deter such a crime.
