SURG 2310 Surgical Case Review(2-0-0) 2 Credits UN This course allows the student to receive detailed explanation and information on cases performed while in the clinical setting. It provides the student with explanations for variations in surgical procedures experienced in the previous days, how the surgeon determined the course of action for the variations, and allows students to learn from one another’s experiences. This course also provides time for students to participate in specialty areas not previously covered and/or time to complete the required number of cases. It also provides time for the student to review and prepare for the certification exam administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Pre-requisite(s): SURG 2111 Concurrency: SURG 2322 , SURG 2221 Co-requisite(s): None
