PSYC 2040 Adolescent Psychology(3-0-0) 3 Credits UT This course examines the developmental period between childhood and adulthood known as adolescence. It emphasizes the understanding and application of biological, cognitive, and socio-emotional changes occurring during this time period. The classroom climate includes lectures and interactive discussion of topics such as identity development, sexuality, moral development, and gender. Students will gain an in-depth knowledge of typical adolescent development as well as problems in adolescence and emerging adulthood. Louisiana Board of Regents Common Course Matrix.
