CLTS 1030 Introduction to Clinical Laboratory Science(2-2-0) 3 Credits UN Orientation to roles of the clinical laboratorian in the medical laboratory, including: basic laboratory techniques, clinical laboratory specializations, laboratory organization, professional ethics, cultural competence, medical terminology, safety, quality assurance & quality control, glassware, equipment, and measurements used. Introduction to phlebotomy and other specimen collection procedures along with appropriate specimen containers.
