AUTO 1013 Automotive Fundamentals and Service Information

This course will introduce students to the field of automotive service technology. Students will learn about the career opportunities available in the automotive field as well as safety factors relating to the automotive service industry.Students will be introduced to the responsibilities performed, and the tools used in the automotive service industry. Topics include the following: careers, chemicals used in automotive service, tools and equipment use, certification requirements, OSHA and EPA regulations.
