ECON 2020 covers the theory of the national and government economic system, concepts, institutions and policies, including monetary theory and banking, national income theory, problems of inflation and unemployment and population, and international trade and financing. ECON 2020 is summarized as an introduction to economy-wide phenomena, including national income, inflation, unemployment, economic growth, the monetary system, fiscal policy, international trade and finance.
