CJUS 2090 Criminal Justice Practicum (1/2-0-3/6) 3 Credits UT A structured program of individualized work experience in criminal justice with an employer. Students are expected to work in a criminal justice environment, example: District Attorney’s office, City Prosecutor’s office, Public Defender’s office, and/or probation and parole office, in order experience the actual operations of the criminal justice system. This will be done under the supervision of the instructor and a supervisor in office selected and accepted for a student. The student will complete a minimum of 45 internship hours for the semester. The ratio of theory to internship will vary based on internship placement. Students will report to the instructor and the specified agency/department throughout the semester. Pre-requisite(s): CJUS majors only and CJUS 1010 Concurrency: None Co-requisite(s): None
