EDUC 2030 Pre-K - 8th Mathematics (3/0/0) 3 Credits UT
An introductory mathematics course for education majors (PreK-8). This course will emphasize with the understanding and use of major concepts of number sense, geometry, and measurement, statistics, number systems, and problems solving through real-world situations. Course pedagogy involves students as active participants in the learning process through activities, problem-solving and journals. This course is intended, but not exculsive, for elementary education majors who plan to transfer to a four-year institution.
