Welcome to the SLCC Advising Handbook
Academic advising is a shared responsibility between students and advisors. Together you and your advisor will set realistic goals, identify campus resources and support services, understand requirements for your major, and develop a graduation plan. Ultimately, you will make important choices that will impact your own success.
This advising handbook is part of SLCC’s advising 2.0 initiative. The handbook serves as a general guide for understanding the steps you’ll complete to earn your degree.
