Student Education Planner

The Student Education Planner (SEP) feature in the Degree Works degree audit system allows students and advisors to build a degree plan for completion of a technical or associate degree while incorporating any other requirements into the plan for general education, major, and elective classes.  

To begin using the the Student Education Planner you must make an appointment to meet with your advisor.  Find out how to contact your advisor below.

Finding and Contacting your advisor.

There are two ways you can find and contact your advisor. You can use Starfish or you can use LoLA and the SLCC directory.

Option 1: Find and Contact your Advisor in Starfish

1.) Login to Starfish with your Lola username and password

Your advisor will appear under your Connections.

2.) Click your advisors name.  You can then send them an email or click the appointment button to schedule an appointment.

Option 2: Find Your Advisor in LoLA

Login to LOLA

1. From the LoLA Home Screen:  
2. Click Student  
3. Click Academic Profile from the Academic Links box under South Louisiana Community College 
4. Your advisor’s name will display 

2.) Visit the SLCC directory to find your advisor’s email address.
